One Hundred Years Of Solitude

By: Gabriel Garcia Marquez

The most epic novel I have read. This quote sums up how I feel about it.

William Kennedy, of New York Times Book Review:

“It’s the first piece of literature since the Book of Genesis that should be required reading for the entire human race… Mr Garcia Marquez has done nothing less than to create in the reader a sense of all that is profound, meaningful, and meaningless in life.”

Although it took me about four tries over a few years to actually get past the first few chapters I'm so glad to have read it. Really an amazing book
